What is KOOSN? |

KOOSN is a super-fun, well supervised, social experience for 4th to 8th grade age kids held every Saturday night at American Indoor. Organized in cooperation with the City of Carrollton, KOOSN combines maximum fun and safety from 7 p.m. to midnight to let parents and kids both enjoy a quality night out. |

A security guard is on premise for every KOOSN as a deterrent to trouble. All kids must be signed in by a parent or legal guardian for their first visit, and must sign kids out on every visit. Kids are only allowed out of the building when they are escorted by the basketball director to play basketball, and then only eight kids are allowed at a time. The KOOSN staffers are well trained and aware of the measures necessary to keep KOOSN participants safe and active. We make sure the kid to chaperone ratio is never less than 15:1 so that situations arising with bullies or those intrested in things other than a good time are dealt with quickly. In most cases, time-out is used to refocus energy and settle things down, but if serious enough, we call parents to retrieve their kid(s). And our database of kids with their picture makes sure we can account for all visitors at anytime. No one, even parents, are allowed beyond the front desk without an escort. |
For just $12 admission, kids can choose between a wide range of activities that keep them active and provide the chance to get to know kids from other schools. Activities change weekly with new games, bounce house gear, laser tag and more. While at KOOSN, kids can also play foosball, pool, basketball, soccer, dodge ball, video games, touch football or hang out in the dance area that features a live DJ playing all the latest hits. Every now and then, we have dance contests and instruction from our energetic staff. And there are plenty of fun snacks and food for sale in our concession area.
